Finally, Goal-Setting That Really Works

You may notice as you scan this website that my goal-setting includes pulling you in, almost commanding you to stop skimming and look deeper.

If you follow my direction and actually read all the way through the articles you choose, you know my bent.

In Mind Nudges you get some good quotations and stories, usually my personal ones that support the concept of a powerful subconscious mind. On the navigation bar you find a variety of approaches to harnessing that power.

I have personally used all the products I recommend with great benefit all around, but here comes the mother of them all!

First some clarifying statements:

I truly believe that there is more to our universe than meets the eye—right, left, or third.

That hypnosis works to change our subconscious minds to our benefit.

That some people have psychic experiences and power that I do not have.

That meditation has power even though I do not know how to meditate on my own.

That I have a linear mind trained in logic plus an imaginative streak that belies logic.

Centerpointe gives you the discs that combine hypnosis and meditation.

Sedona gives you the discs that help you melt internal resistance to meeting the goals you have set—and a lot more. Brainsweep gives you the broom to sweep out goal-setting blocks.

But the mother of them all, the course that combines the best of inner and outer worlds, is Mark Joyner's goal-setting course, Simpleology 101. In case you don't know Mark Joyner, here's my take:

I met Mark online in 1998 and learned much from his writings. Then I met him in person at a couple of conferences. He has had a profound effect on my life.

Two years ago he sold his lucrative Internet Marketing business and moved to New Zealand. He needed time and space to create something to ease some of the world's perplexing and repetitive problems.

I believe whole-heartedly in his motivation and his processes. I have the same motivation. Currently I am learning the simple process Mark created.

The poets in my county on the central coast of California are calling for poems that offer solutions to world problems. I say there are no solutions to any problems that do not begin at home—your own home, your own whole mind.

If everyone faced the source of his anger, jealously, fear, greed and beliefs, a lot of good things would begin to happen.

In other words, take a good honest look inside before going outside.

Every day.

Once you discover that you have been blaming yourself unconsciously, you can stop blaming others.

It's a good habit to practice every day. And habits are the key to Mark Joyner's Simpleology 101.

It doesn't cost you anything but 15 minutes a day, some ink and paper. And it's so LOGICAL. After you sign up, write to me and tell me you have started the course. I will send you Lesson One of BRAINSWEEP at no charge. Just mailto:evycole@direcway.com. Put Brainsweep in the subject.

Since I give everyone personal attention in Brainsweep, I can only take 50 students a month. If you find that the program is your "cup of tea", you can sign up online, here for Brainsweep.

No magic. No psychic power needed.

Go here now for Simpleology. and sign up. You will thank your lucky stars that you read this far.

One concept in Simpleology 101 really hit home for me: Every action, no matter how insignificant, has a reaction. If you have set a goal, every action you take leads you to or away from that goal.

I want to lose the eight pounds I gained while recuperating from surgery. Just thinking about the reaction from eating desserts make it much easier for me to avoid them. Simple, hunh?

Even though Simpleology has had more impact on me than any other personal development program I have experienced—and I've tried a slew of them—I do have to warn you that it will work only if you do what it asks.

There is no such thing as a magic pill. Simpleology is boiled down to a short 15 minute exercise that you perform every day. If you want to master goal-setting/goal-meeting through mastery of time, energy and money, you must do the easy exercise every day. The changes aren't going to happen unless you do.

Two years ago Mark gave me the courage to use print-on-demand to publish two novels that New York agents had championed but were unable to sell. Now he's giving me the direction and goal-setting habits I need to market them and the three more novels waiting in the wings.

Now you know why I command you to read deeply. Here's a poem I wrote before I met Mark Joyner. It summarizes:

OUT OF THE INTERNET

A pelican skims the bay,
wings clipping, barely rippling
the glassy surface.
Suddenly, it plops upon its prey
like a Harley in full skid.

My computer is down today.
I can't skim the world
in search of prey,
nor drop my crafted missiles
my advertorials and infomercials

nor wander cyber world selling space
at high speed, skimming the surface
of an eerie sea where credit floats and
concepts merge like corpulent corporations.

No, my Mac won't boot today.
I can drop below the surface
where blood runs thick, heartbeats pump
and thoughts cohere
like a Harley in fifth gear.

Evy
